XPE foam roll

XPE foam is a kind of polymer material with good and independent fined cells, ideal for uses that requires thicker foam by multilayers lamination. Especially 32kg/m3 density or 2 lbs XPE foam is widely used. Of course, for different types of application, various density since 2 lbs to 18lbs (32kg/m3 – 3000kg/m3) density is available, more details please inquire us separately. XPE foam is also full of high mechanics intensity and good heat insulation, good waterproof, well resistant to aging, to high temperature, to chemical corrosion and different environments. The XPE foam can be processed further to meet different application’s requirements, such as packaging and flotation equipment, construction expansion joints, industrial gaskets, camping mats, etc.

Polyolefin Foam – XPE FOAM MSX05

XPE foam (chemically cross-linked polyethylene foam material) is made of polyethylene resin, foaming agent and other filling materials after being uniformly extruded and then foamed by high temperature. XPE foam has excellent characteristics such as waterproof, moisture-proof, cushioning, rebound, heat preservation, heat insulation, weather resistance, aging resistance, corrosion resistance, light weight, easy processing and forming.

What’s more, the maximum thickness of XPE foam is 10 mm for a single layer and it can be laminated to 60 mm. XPE foam are laminated by heating and the whole progress is without glue. During the progress, the surface of the foam is slightly melted and two layers of foam are embossed together. In this way, we can get a thicker XPE foam material.

By the way, XPE foam can be embossed into different surface patterns.

EPE (physical foamed polyethylene, known as pearl cotton). Tensile strength of XPE foam is higher and the cells are better.
